385 Improving Neurosurgical Handover: A Quality Improvement Project

Abstract Aim Efficient, succinct, and salient handover of current issues surgical inpatients between doctors is an essential process which, if done ineffectively can contribute to patient harm. It was recognised that existing junior neurosurgical could be improved using the Royal College Surgeons’ NICE guidelines for clinical we aimed improve system, improving doctor’s satisfaction with safety.
